Purpose of the Service
The main purpose of this Service is to give you confidence that your investments are on course to meet your aims and objectives, as tax efficiently as possible and within a risk profile with which you feel comfortable.
When advising clients face to face for the first time, we often find that over the years they have invested in a number of different investment funds, without any clear strategy or review process, and often with little appreciation of the risks involved when looking at the portfolio as a whole.
As part of the Evaluation Service, we will gather together as much information as possible about your existing fund investments, analyse whether they are likely to achieve what you are hoping they will achieve, and then look at whether the risk profile of the portfolio matches the risk profile we identify for yourself.
Having done this, we are then able to make recommendations as to how the portfolio should be restructured, perhaps to make it more tax efficient or perhaps to give it a better chance of meeting your aims and objectives.
What is included?
As part of the Service, we can include the following:
Next Steps
To do the job properly, we do of course need to gather information both about your existing portfolio of investments, and about your aims and objectives. We would be grateful if you could therefore, print and complete the documents below and then forward to us.
Cost of the Service
As you can imagine, this involves a fair amount of work on our part. We do not, however, charge an upfront fee (although this option is available – please contact us for details) – all we ask is that you agree to transfer to us the servicing rights of your investments. Some, although by no means all, will pay a servicing commission (typically 0.5% p.a. of the fund value) out of the annual management charge you already pay, and it is this commission which will help pay for the Service.
If you would like us to undertake this Investment Evaluation on your behalf, then please complete the three documents outlined above, and return them to us.
As the Investment Evaluation Service will involve us providing you with advice, please
ensure that you read our Advice Terms of Business, Key Facts and Menu as these differ
